Prince Edward Public Schools Endowment
Supporting Prince Edward Teachers
PEPSE helps teachers implement exciting, innovative ideas in the classroom. We fund mini-grants for original, multi-year projects. In the past, PEPSE contributed to our teachers' professional development and continuing education and helped to choose the Teacher of the Year for Prince Edward schools.
MINI-GRANTS
Each year, we distribute mini-grants to teachers who want to enhance their classrooms by buying new materials or implementing original projects. For example, funds raised by PEPSE have purchased high school library books, science and computer lab equipment, and a digital piano at the middle school. Mini-grants range from $500 to $1,000.
We support projects that:
-
Are new or different for your class or school
-
Support school curriculum
-
Have measurable educational goals
-
Encourage collaboration among teachers and classrooms
-
Will benefit a large number of students over multiple years
If you are a Prince Edward teacher and have an exciting idea for your classroom, apply for a mini-grant today!
TEACHER OF THE YEAR

Each year, PEPSE board members read essays from Prince Edward's most outstanding teachers and help to choose the Teacher of the Year. High school PE teacher Janet Green was 2017's Teacher of the Year.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

PEPSE pays for professional development for teachers, beyond what the school budget can cover.
