ABOUT US

In 1993, an anonymous donor established the Prince Edward Public Schools Endowment, Inc. (PEPSE) to ensure the continued excellence of Prince Edward County schools. PEPSE is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.  We accept donations from individuals, businesses, and foundations interested in enhancing our school programs. PEPSE dollars do not replace tax dollars or fund the daily operation of the school.

PEPSE funds have:

  • Purchased high school library books and science and computer lab equipment.

  • Supported teachers via mini-grants and professional development.

  • Helped to fund the Outdoor Classroom, available to students at the elementary, middle, and high schools.

  • Purchased a digital weather station for use in the high school.

PEPSE is governed by a Board of Directors, with four officers who each hold three-year terms. Our current officers are listed below.  If you'd like to join a PEPSE committee or have an idea for our Board, contact us at princeedwardendowment@gmail.com.
